Finally one of the most awaited music albums of the year has been released. Shankar’s Nanban is the remake of the Hindi classic movie 3 Idiots. Harris Jayaraj provides the music for this multi starrer which features actors like Vijay,  Jeeva,  Srikanth, Ileana,  Sathyaraj, SJ Suryah and many more!

With friendship-friendly lyrics and Krish’s bombastic vocals, Harris builds En frienda pola into a hummable, anthemic song! Heartiley battery re-imagines an already popular catch-phrase into a fresh, catchy track, while the guitar’y, short Endhan kan munney makes for a breezy listen. Irukkaannaa finds Harris recycling his own Vettayaadu Vilayaadu material in a messy package, even as Nalla nanban is largely soporific, but for some spunky semi-classical backgrounds. The soundtrack belongs to Askku laska, an inspired mix of clever lyrics, evocative orchestration, gorgeous Kapi raga-based tune and engaging vocals! Harris, with help from Shankar, redeems himself after the 7aum Arivu debacle.
